Maggie Thatcher’s Rotting Corpse To Release Coronation Single “The Ballad Of Reggie Cyde”

Maggie Thatcher’s Rotting Corpse are one of Britain’s most controversial and politically direct bands. Before The Kunts took political punk back into the UK mainstream, Maggie Thatcher’s Rotting Corpse appeared with their debut self titled single back in 2016. Exploding two years later with their eponymous debut record, the band drew vitriol and praise in equal measure. Their latest single, The Ballad Of Reggie Cyde, is set to be released on 5th May via Bunnysnot Records, just in time for the King’s coronation! It’s available to pre-order now on Bandcamp, and across all streaming platforms.

In 2021, the band gained unexpected success with their football anthem, England All The Way (ish), during the summer’s European Championships, Since then, the group has stayed on the pulse of current affairs with The Duke Of York Is A Paedo (Allegedly), a reworking of a Ramones classic, and It’s a Sin (Liz Truss Is A Div), a synth-laden nod to the Pet Shop Boys that featured an unnerving AI appearance from the former Prime Minister.
