Manchester Punk Festival believes that there is much more to a good festival than music and, as ever, they are always eager to celebrate other expressive art forms. Two of their main ways of doing so are through their comedy and poetry stages which will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Red Redmond, of Dead Cat Comedy fame, has put together another fantastic lineup of some of the finest comedians around.

After the success of 2019’s punk poetry stage, host Henry Raby has amassed another gang of punky wordy performers for 2022. There may not be many mosh pits, but you can expect a tonne of rhyme & verse, stories & stanzas, humour & politics, honesty & passion. The perfect spot to come for an afternoon chill and nurse that hangover.

“Everyone’s response to the band announcements for MPF2022 has been absolutely incredible. Tickets for are flying out and we only have 150 left! Make sure you buy your ticket very soon so that you don’t miss out.”

Manchester Punk Festival will be the 6th iteration of the independent city centre festival, the 3 day event has become a much adored celebration of all things punk and hardcore with fans travelling from around the world to join in the fun.
