The SoDa Poppers Drop New Single “Not Even In Your Wildest (Fuckin’) Dreams”
Johny Skullknuckles (The Kopek Millionaires / The Dead Beats / Goldblade) continues his musical adventures with The SoDa Poppers and their brand new…
Punk rock’s favorite cover band is back to tip their hats once again to the classics. Spike & The Gimme Gimmes, who were known as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes when Blow In The Wind was released back in 2001, are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album with a special vinyl reissue that will be released on August 14th and can be pre-ordered via Fat Wreck Chords. Blow In The Wind was an instant fan-favorite, twenty five years later, the album still hits just as hard, and now fans can add a fresh anniversary pressing to their collections.
The Gimme Gimmes have proven they can turn virtually anything into a singalong punk anthem. They’ve converted Neil Diamond fans, weaponized Stairway to Heaven against stadium crowds, convinced members of Lagwagon to enthusiastically perform show tunes, and somehow made a career out of drunkenly reinventing beloved songs around the world. Between world tours, festival appearances, funny shirts, and endless drinks, the Gimme Gimmes continue living the dream every kid with a first guitar imagines: playing nothing but hit songs, traveling the world, and somehow getting paid for it.

Spike & The Gimme Gimmes will be overstaying their welcome with four nights at San Francisco’s Kilowatt that they promise will feature rad bands, new songs and special guests. The band will then head to Colorado’s Summer Greens and Montreal’s Warped Tour In August before heading to Europe on tour in October & November.
