Members of D.I., Humble Gods and Doggy Style Form X Pistols

Members of Orange County punk act D.I. have joined forces with members of Doggy Style and Humble Gods to form the new “punk-rock supergrounp,” X Pistols.  The band has signed with label Suburban Noize Records, and is set to release their debut full length, Shoot To Kill, on January 18, 2011.  Frontman Brad X comments on the project:

“I always wanted to tap into the intense energy and element of danger that I felt went I first got into punk bands like TSOL, Wasted Youth, Black Flag and The Golden Era… We wanted to take everything about those bands, put a spin on it and take it somewhere no one has ever gone. I’ve had a burning desire to press down on the throttle and open up the engine to my punk-rock roots.”
