Madison Turner Shares New Single & Video “Had Enough”
Richmond, VA's Madison Turner has shared her brand new single and video, Had Enough, that is now available through streaming…
Pride Month is right around the corner, and while multinational corporations are beginning to clean eleven months’ worth of dust off of their rainbow logos, Middle-Aged Queers are dropping a new track, This Song Is Sponsored By Absolut Vodka, that offers a sardonic critique of the commercialization of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Originally released on the eponymous benefit vinyl compilation Punk Rock Saves Lives…The Album! Vol. II the song is finally available via streaming platforms and Bandcamp.
This release kicks off a string of tour dates for Middle-Aged Queers, culminating in their first-ever string of, mostly, all-ages shows in the Pacific Northwest. Along the way they’ll open for punk-soul legends The BellRays at an Oakland venue recently overhauled by art film icon John Waters, play Seattle’s storied all-ages venue the Vera Project and share the stage with Christian punks Ninety Pound Wuss on their first appearance in 23 years.
Middle-Aged Queers are a Bay Area supergroup of seasoned punks, including ex-members of The Cost, Fang, The Insaints and The Shondes, who are on a mission to make punk rock gay again.
