Manchester Punk Festival Issues 42nd Name Your Price Compilation
Manchester Punk Festival have released the 42nd volume of their name your price compilation series via Bandcamp ahead of next year’s festival. Manchester Punk…
It’s been two decades since Naked Raygun took the stage for their legendary 2006 reunion set, and now, for the first time ever, Live at Riot Fest is finally coming to vinyl, freshly remixed and remastered by Dan Precision at The Bombshelter Recording Studio in Chicago. The album will be released on the 6th November, which marks 20 years to the day of the recording of Live at Riot Fest, and will be available on double Raygun InfraRED vinyl through Loud Pizza Records. Live at Riot Fest comes with a 12-Page commemorative zine packed with live photos, stories from fellow bands detailing their favorite Naked Raygun memories and the influence of the ’06 reunion and more. The album also includes a Naked Raygun tattoo flash sticker sheet, individually numbered souvenir ticket stub, and a VIP all-access pass postcard.

“They introduced me to the Chicago I would ultimately fall in love with: loud, uncompromising, beautifully authentic, perfectly abrasive, yet somehow profoundly comforting. There was never any pretense with Naked Raygun… It was simply intrinsic to who they were. Naked Raygun is inextricably woven into the fabric of this festival: the attitude, the humor, the sense of community, the distinctly Chicago obstinacy, and the conviction that you can create something entirely on your own terms without soliciting anyone’s permission or approval,” (Riot Fest founder Mike Petryshyn)
