Give Praise Records Issue “Better Hand Plant Than Dead” Name Your Price Compilation
The first release for the year from Give Praise Records is Better Hand Plant Than Dead, an era spanning 27 track compilation…
Nasalrod, who are about to embark on and East Coast and West Coast US tours, have released the star-studded new James Rexroad directed video for The Maker from last years’ In The Modern Meatspace split album with Victims Family that was released via Nadine Records and Alternative Tentacles Records. The video features cameo appearances from Al Jourgensen (Ministry), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Lee Ving (Fear), Jerry A (Poison Idea), Toody Cole (Dead Moon), Janet Weiss (Quasi), Steve Turner (Mudhoney), Matt Pike (High On Fire / Sleep), Sean Croghan (The Mistons / Crackerback), Greg Meleney (Danava) and all of YOB, Help and Gaytheist.
Nasalrod is a collaborative vision. The intensity of drummer Spit Stix (FEAR) is a major driving force behind this ferocious art-punk quartet. Lead singer Chairman’s sneering, kooky yet soulful vocals soar over a sound that is simultaneously convulsive, melodic and violent. Spit Stix, guitarist Mustin Douch, and bassist Mandy Morgan provide a sonic backdrop that is the demented and freakish heart of the band. This latest batch of songs sees them adding instances of three part vocal harmony to their audio stockpile.
