San Jose, CA's The New Catastrophes have released their new album, Weather The Storm, via streaming platforms, as a free…
Wrexham based quintet Neck Deep has announced that they have signed on with Hopeless Records. Band member Ben Barlow comments:
“Perfect match really isn’t it; an indy label with a strong ethos and message. We feel like we haven’t signed our souls away but are taking a huge step in the right direction. We know that together this is really going to take things to the next step for us as a band; with a label like Hopeless backing you, you know you’re going to be taken care of and treated well. We couldn’t be more stoked on the whole thing, it’s perfect.”
Bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans elaborates:
“It’s probably a terribly cliché thing to say, but signing to Hopeless is a dream come true for us… Being a part of the Hopeless family feels like a real honour; it’s such a massive step in our band’s career. Being associated with such a reputable label and the incredible records they put out has given us a sense of responsibility to live up to these high standards, but we have worked incredibly hard to create a debut album that we feel will match up. We literally can’t wait to release our record and do our best to make everyone proud and continue to maintain their standards of work. We are feeling very positive and excited about the future for our band, and everyone at Hopeless has been incredible in making us feel welcome and a part of the family.”
The band is currently tracking their debut full length, Whishful Thinking, which is due out in nearly 2014.
