New Found Glory To Release 'Radiosurgery' In October; Announces Pop Punk's Not Dead Tour

New Found Glory has announced that their follow up to 2009’s Not Without A Fight will be titled Radiosurgery and is on track to hit stores October 4, 2011 via Epitaph Records.  Familiar face Neal Avron, who worked on 2004’s Catalyst, will serve as producer.  Guitarist Chad Gilbert explains what fans can expect from the disc:

“Our music is constantly evolving and changing and when this band puts out an album we always try to offer something different… With this disc we wanted to go back to the music that got us into punk and incorporate influences from those albums.”  

Guitarist Steve Klein elabortates:

“This album is a culmination of all of our albums put together and in a lot of ways we feel like a new band when we’re playing these songs because they’re so energized and they affirm the fact that we’re going to be a band for a long time… In a lot of ways it feels like we’re just getting started.”

The band is currently taking pre-order over at the Epitaph Store.  The group also recently announced their Fall Headline Tour, entitled Pop Punk’s Not Dead, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink.  Joining them will be Man Overboard, This Time Next Year and two more bands. Full dates can be found below.
