Dean Grant was a founding member of the 2nd wave of punk band, Rabid born out of the political chaos of the early 1980’s, and still there at the demise of the band in 2016. Grant and Rabid bass player Steve Ward made for an extended break in Andalucía and after several local sherries too many exploded from their hideaway deep within the Desert of Almeria as alter-ego Pablo Mercedes Y Los Cojones Del Diablo. They released their first album, Devil & God, in January 2018 to critical acclaim from press and radio alike. They were invited to play at SXSW’s Indie Fest 2018 and their new album, El Paso Daze: Live In Texas, is the result of their gigs in Texas and will be released on the 7th September, the album features eight tracks live from Austin, plus four new tracks with one, 5 O’clock Looking For Me, recorded both live and studio.
