Long Island, NY hardcore band Pain Of Truth have quickly become one of the most exciting true hardcore bands to emerge in the 2020’s, known for their intense live shows and hard-hitting lyrics. Today the band announced their debut full-length album, Not Through Blood, which is set for release on September 8th via DAZE Records. Following the 2020 EP, No Blame…Just Facts, and a 2021 split with Age Of Apocalypse, Not Through Blood finds the band sounding sharper and meaner than ever. Always making things a community affair, Pain Of Truth‘s No Blame…Just Facts included six guest vocal contributions and Not Through Blood adds it up to a whopping thirteen guests including Freddy Cricien (Madball), Scott Vogel (Terror), Justice Tripp (Trapped Under Ice), Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife), Jay Peta (Mindforce) and Brendan Garrone (Incendiary).
The first single comes in the shape of Actin’ Up, a callout to passer-bys who create a fake persona in a scene they aren’t truly a part of. Some serious guitar riffs lead way to Michael Smith‘s ruthlessly direct vocals before being joined by the heavy growls of Steve Buhl (200 Stab Wounds). Pain Of Truth will also start a European tour on June 22nd alongside No Pressure, Sunami, Restraining Order and C4, including appearances at Outbreak Fest, Jera On Air Festival and Leper Fest. The band will also perform at Los Angeles’ Sound and Fury Festival in July and Philly’s This Is Hardcore in August. With more show dates on the way there will be ample chances to catch the band’s vigorous live set and experience the full inclination of Not Through Blood.
