Palette Knife Drop “Prototype V.2” Single

Ohio’s Palette Knife have just dropped their manic new single, Prototype V.2, via streaming platforms and Bandcamp through Take This To Heart Records. The track is taken from their upcoming full length, LP3, which the band is currently working on with Billy Mannino. The track invokes staples of the Columbus, OH three piece’s signature sound while hinting at a more mature direction.

Bookended by a 7/8 hook, the track explodes into a three and a half minute jam showcasing all three musicians while the vocals take a more scattered yet impactful approach. Tap riffs and syncopated rhythm sections crash into a pensive instrumental build, all culminating to one of the band’s most anthemic choruses yet.
