Sheer Terror Unleash “Squat Diddler” Single
On the eve on their May 2026 European Tour, NYC's SHEER TERROR have released their new single, Squat Diddler, that…
Planet On A Chain, a band made up of veterans of the punk & hardcores scene dating back to the ’90s, aren’t resting on their considerable laurels when it comes to creating explosive new music. Vocalist Dave Ackerman (Tear It Up / Dead Nation), is backed by members of Bay Area vets from bands like Dead And Gone, Punch, Look Back And Laugh and Talk Is Poison, to name but a few. The band have now released their sophomore album, Culture Of Death, via Revelation Records. The record spans twelve tracks that pack a punch with chunky riffs, shout-along vocals and lyrics that pen an outlet for frustration. The band are celebrating the album release with a string of Northwest, US shows this weekend which will be followed by a tour of mainland Europe in June.

With Planet On A Chain spread across Texas and California, the music for Culture Of Death was tracked, mixed and mastered with Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden in Oakland, CA with the vocals recorded in Austin, TX with John Petris at Come And Track It studios. The album follows Planet On A Chain‘s 2022 compilation Deprogram and 2023’s Boxed In, building on their urgent and impactful sound. Culture Of Death is hardcore music played by true lifers who never dropped out and returned only to relive past glories, who have continued to push their own creativity and capabilities for multiple decades. It is hardcore music delivered in the early scene’s spirit of playing punk music as fast as humanly possible but with eyes kept firmly on the present and future.
