Public Opinion Release “Heaven Sent” EP

Public Opinion have returned with a new two-song single, Heaven Sent, that is now available via Convulse Records. The title track and it’s b-side, Dry Clean Only, finds the Denver based group in their element, pushing the melody and bite of their sound even further. Heaven Sent follows 2022’s Modern Convenience EP and marks Public Opinion‘s first time working with engineer and producer Taylor Young.

Public Opinion blend the energy and aggression of hardcore with the overt hooks and swagger of garage rock, resulting in razor sharp songs that make you want to sing along and stage dive in equal measure. Heaven Sent is a sub-two minute rocker that imagines The Hives as a hardcore band, while Dry Clean Only brings elements of ’90s alternative into the mix along with one of Public Opinion‘s most anthemic choruses to date.
