Over the last two decades Punchcard have built a signature sound with songs that emphasize political fallout, social instability and personal mistrust that are influenced by many of the late 90’s skate punk bands like NOFX, Lagwagon, Propagandhi and Strung Out. Now the San Diego crew have released their new full length, Soap Box Hero, via streaming platforms and Bandcamp through Felony Records, the album delivers a blistering mix of ferocious punk anthems and razor sharp commentary that are delivered with unrelenting riffs and unapologetic energy.
Punchcard have a brace of upcoming Californian shows; on February 28th they will appear at Crockett’s Toots Tavern with United Defiance which is followed with an appearance in San Pedro’s The Sardine with Matt Caskitt & The Breaks, Emmer Effer and Strike Twelve on the 1st March.
