Absolutepunk.net is reporting that Punchline is putting the finishing touches on an upcoming followup to last years’ Just Say Yes.  The band comments on their progress, and notable lineup changes:

“We are in the home stretch of recording our new album at Innovation Studios in Steubenville, Ohio. We have once again teamed up with producer Jamie Woolford to make the best album of our lives. This is our first album with our good bud Paul Menotiades back in the band since our “Action” album that we released in 2004, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

We have also parted ways with drummer Pat Dee, who has been playing with us for the past year. We will always be thankful for his hard work and commitment, and for being a great friend to us in general. There is no doubt in any of our minds that Pat will be a successful rock drummer, and we wish him the best in whatever music venture he pursues.

Cory Muro of The Composure will be playing drums on our new album and at all of our upcoming shows. He is a fantastic and versatile drummer, and anyone who has seen him play can attest to this fact. We are looking forward to making music together with Cory.”

The band is also giving away seven tracks from Just Say Yes here.
