Punk Goes Pop 3 Announced
Fearless Records has announced the latest release in their Punk Goes…series with Punk Goes Pop 3. Started back in 2000 withPunk Goes Metal, this series has been a compilation of punk, rock, emo, and alternative bands covering a specific genre made (or occasionally just stripping their own songs down acoustically). This, as the name implies, will be their third releases that sees bands diving into the Top 40 Charts for covers. The track listing is below.
The album is set for release on November 2nd, 2010 and features covers of Lady GaGa, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake among others. The last release in the series, Punk Goes Classic Rock, was released April of last year.
