Punk4MentalHealth Festival Confirms Details Of DIY Reading
The inaugural Punk4MentalHealth festival will occur in London from 27-31 March 2017, it is intended to raise funds for mental health research to help stop the stigma associated with mental illness and to celebrate the DIY ethos of punk culture. Punk4MentalHealth will be comprised of a series of events to occur throughout London, including a live reading at the legendary Dublin Castle venue on the 29 March 2017 from the DIY book , I Was A Teenage Guitarist For The Clash! The DIY attitude is central to everything about the live reading, from fund raising to writing to marketing to casting. One of the central messages of the Punk4MentalHealth festival is that the DIY attitude is one that is very empowering, and is central to mental health.
