Angoulême’s PURRS have today released their debut album, Goodbye Black Dog, via French imprint A Tant Rêver Du Roi. Inhabited by the troubles and anxieties of their generation, haunted by the urgency to chase away their fears, PURRS deliver raw material that recomposes an experience, personal or close, gritty or victorious, in a straightforward and sincere manner.

Under the influence of post-punk elders who faced an almost similar context, the nine tracks of their debut album orchestrate the present of a tormented band, bitter but not refusing hope. PURRS will also be hitting the road across France over the coming months, including appearances at Festival Mariposa and Festival De La Mer.
