Pygmy Lush – January Song

Richmond’s Pygmy Lush debuted a new track from their upcoming album, Old Friends due out May 3rd via Lovitt Records. The track, “January Song”, can be heard here. The band previously posted the song “Yellow Hall” online which can be heard on Soundcloud.

Old Friends was recorded this past fall in Salem, MA by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios (Converge, Cave In, Torche, Paint It Black.) Eric Kane of Strike Anywhere has also joined the band on drums to record on the album and tour. Pygmy Lush is currently out on the road with label mates, Des Ark, giving their fans an early look at new material from their upcoming album. Read below for a list of tour dates.

Old Friends will be the follow up album to Pygmy Lush’s Mount Hope released also on Lovitt Records back in 2008.
