Scowl have shared the latest single, Seeds To Sow, off their upcoming album, How Flowers Grow, that is out on November 19th on Flatspot Records. The new song explores a more melodic, old school style sound that is still brimming with the youthful hardcore energy the band exemplifies. The vocals are charmingly catchy, accompanied by a rock n’ roll saxophone line that carries the tune in a completely unexpected way. The video wouldn’t look out of place on the big screen, a clever throwback to a bygone era that captures a sense of nostalgia and fun.

“I love this song. I had no expectations going into recording it as it was supposed to be strictly instrumental— but at the very end of recording we kinda just went for it. I messed around with some of my lyrics from the title track and basically wrote a prelude. I loved hearing that kinda thing on a record growing up, I always felt like it tied everything together and was almost a sort of musical “fourth wall break”. I love to sing but had zero expectations for recording my singing voice, it was just a lot of fun.” (vocalist Kat Moss)

Scowl also has a run of West Coast tour dates coming up in December with Comeback Kid, No Warning and Zulu. These will be followed by a string of shows on the East Coast including the For The Children benefit in Brooklyn, NY with Xibalba and Section H8, followed by Philadelphia and Washington D.C. with Fixation and End It.
