Scream Announce EU & UK Summer Tour Dates

DC hardcore legends Scream are back in Europe this summer, playing a handful of dates around their Rebellion Festival appearance on the 6th August, including appearances at Italy’s DLB Festival, Belgium’s Brackrock, Slovenia’s Punk Rock Holiday, and a co-headline show with Adolescents at London, UK’s New Cross Inn on the 7th August. Originally formed across the Potomac in Alexandria VA in 1981, Scream were the first on the scene to release a full-length album on DC’s legendary Dischord Records label, in the form of ’83’s Still Screaming album. The band would go on to become a training ground for a teenage Dave Grohl prior to his stint in Nirvana.

Splitting in 1990, the band reformed in 2009, releasing the Dave Grohl produced Complete Control Recording Sessions EP in 2011, followed by the DC Special album in ’23, the last release for original drummer Kent Stax, who passed away in September that year. The current band features original members Pete Stahl (vocals), Franz Stahl (guitar) and Enoch Thompson (bass), along with drummer Andrew Black (Battery)and Gizz Butt (Prodigy / English Dogs) on guitar.
