Shockportopia Free Festival Confirmed For June 2019
Shockportopia is a 2 day free festival ran by 4 promoters over 2 venues over 2 days that encompasses everything from hard rock, punk, indie, hardcore, metal and more. Shockportopia will take place at the Spinning Top and The Blossoms venues in Stockport to the South of Manchester, UK between the 21st and 22nd June. As of yet this is fairly early days but watch this space for further announcements.

The four promoters for Shockportopia are Leaf Promotions, Battle Kon, Horn & Hoof Records and Weird And Raw Promtions who will each be hosting a stage over the two days. Shockportopia will be free entry with donations for a local charity.
Leaf Promotions are a regular name on the Stockport circuit who put on regular live music throughout the Stockport area, they have boosted Stockport’s profile and have showcased local talent and brought regular events back to Stockport. Leaf Promotions will be hosting the Friday night at The Spinning Top.

Battle Kon is run by Pancake from Kringer and the Battle Katz, he has been putting on regular gigs around Stockport for the past few years that has seen some of the best hardcore, punk and metal bands to Stockport. Battle Kon will be arranging Friday night at The Blossoms.
Manchester’s Horn & Hoof Records are a locally based DIY punk rock label who put on regular events and have been going from strength to strength, they have a whole array of great bands signed and will be hosting Saturday at The Blossoms.
