Somerset Thrower Share “Shinebox” From Upcoming “Take Only What You Need” Album

In less than a month, Somerset Thrower will release their new album, Take Only What You Need To Survive, through Smartpunk Records. The album’s singles, Never Going To Therapy and Motor City, showcase the band’s blend of raw energy with melody soaked textures, today the band have shared one last preview with the Shinebox single. Serving as the album closer, the four minute long, guitar-driven track builds a feeling of yearning, while addressing those on the outside looking in.

Somerset Thrower will celebrate the album’s release with a brace of record release shows. On the 31st July they will appear at Allston, MA’s O’Briens Pub with Hushmoney, Ezra Cohen & The Big City Band and Invisible Rays, on the 1st August the band will play a home town show at Brooklyn, NY’s TV Eye with Hushmoney, Classic Traffic and Spin.
