Steve Soto Of The Adolescents RIP

The Punk Site is saddened to learn that Steve Soto has died, he was the founding member of The Adolescents, as well as being a member of Agent Orange, Joyride, Legal Weapon, Manic Hispanic, Steve Soto & The Twisted Hearts and 22 Jacks. Steve Soto was the sole constant member of The Adolescents and appeared on all of their studio albums, the band had recently completed a US tour and had European shows scheduled this summer. The Adolescents released the following statement earlier today

I’m sorry to break such bad news in such an impersonal way, but the family of Steve Soto would like everyone to know that he passed away peacefully in his sleep today, I’m sure this is a terrible blow to all of you. He will be missed. We will be posting details on a memorial as plans are finalized.
