Masters of their trade STÖNER have lined up a run of UK tour dates this Spring, and the three-piece supergroup will be bringing their flowing jams and all-out punk stompers to venues around the country this April and May. Comprised of vocalist and guitarist Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork Band), bassist and vocalist Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Mondo Generator, Dwarves, Svetlanas) and drummer Ryan Gut (Brant Bjork Band), the band have been melding sounds and traversing genres since their inception in Autumn 2020.
You don’t call your band STÖNER if you’ve never heard the word before. But the group, however straight-ahead their moniker, encompass the varying styles and songwriting of Bjork and Olivieri, both founding members of legendary stoner-rock band Kyuss. With dusty, swinging grooves, sunbaked riffs and a straight up approach to rock ‘n roll, STÖNER keep it casual and wear the name as only those who helped create the sound could. Now, the group are ready to show the nation the true extent of their talent as they embark on a UK tour with stops in Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. With such an array of styles jam-packed into their sound, the gigs are sure to entice listeners from a range of genres and see the group step onto stage and do what they know they do best.
