Political pop-punk band Worriers – featuring members of The Measure [SA], Caves and The Ergs – will be releasing their debut full length album, Imaginary Life, on August 7th through Don Giovanni Records. The record follows 2013’s Cruel Optimist EP and was produced by Laura Jane Grance of Against Me! and recorded/mixed by Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves The Day, Against Me!).
The twelve tracks of political punk anthems formed around the signature vocal style of Lauren Denitzio is currently streaming in its entirety at NPR’s First Listen.
In support of the new record, Worriers are set for an album release show at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory on August 7 with support from Adult Mom, Fleabite, and more.
