Sub City Records, the non-profit subsidiary of Hopeless Records have launched an Indiegogo campaign to help fund the building of a new studio to be used to inspire and educate young people. The project is being run in conjunction with New Directions for Youth and its goal is to build a studio where teenagers can be educated about instruments, recording, producing, and marketing in a professional environment after school and during breaks as an alternative to falling into trouble.
The target if $15000 and as usual with Indiegogo, there are various pledge levels on offer, including meet and greets with bands such as All Time Low and Silverstein and a songwriting session with Bert McCracken of the The Used. Check out the campaign here.
