Leeds melodic punk quartet Sunliner have shared the A-side of their latest Frank Turner produced single, Special Place In Hell, that is out now via Lockjaw Records. A jaunting, riff-led track, Special Place In Hell sees front man Jake McAlister drawing aim at the classist attitudes that surround many people’s perspective on employment and the so-called ‘social ladder’.

“The song is a big catchy ‘fuck you’ to people that believe those worse off than them are only there because they ‘don’t work hard enough’ or they ‘lack aspiration. These people believe pulling your socks up and not buying a coffee every now and then will somehow counteract rising living costs, poor wages and overworking becoming the norm.” (Jake McAlister)
