Swallow The Rat Reveal ‘Hey Yeah’ From Upcoming Debut LP
Auckland, New Zealand’s Swallow The Rat recently announced their upcoming debut full-length “Leaving Room” and they have now revealed the album’s brooding second single ‘Hey Yeah‘. “Leaving Room” is due out on April 24th from Shifting Sounds Records, the album is a compelling tangle of driving post-punk rhythms and raw, shoegaze-tinged guitars. Swallow The Rat use tension and atmospherics to make their sound even more impactful, and ‘Hey Yeah‘ demonstrates this ability with its slow-burning verses, growling bass and spiraling guitar leads that build towards the song’s towering final minute.
