Sweatshop BoysIsrael garage pop-punks Sweatshop Boys have announced that they are now part of the Dirt Cult Records family.  The band plans to release their debut full length, The Great Depression, September 3, 2013, but four songs can be heard now.  Other labels involved in a European release include Kuskus Records, Rapt Records,Drunken Sailor Records and Crapoulet Records.  Front man Chris Mason comments on the release:

“Sweatshop Boys are the catchiest band I’ve ever heard from Israel. However, I’ll concede that I’ve only heard a small handful of bands from the country, so let’s just say that Sweatshop Boys are one of the catchiest bands I’ve ever heard. They play a blend of pop punk and garage rock that’s bouncy, melodic, and a tad bit dark all at the same time. Fans of Marked Men and Red Dons should take note. Fun fact: this album is one of the only albums all 3 (other) members of Low Culture asked “What the hell is this? It’s really good!” almost in unison when on tour out of the hundreds I make them listen to when I’m driving.”

A full album stream is expected soon.
