The SoDa Poppers Drop New Single “Not Even In Your Wildest (Fuckin’) Dreams”
Johny Skullknuckles (The Kopek Millionaires / The Dead Beats / Goldblade) continues his musical adventures with The SoDa Poppers and their brand new…
Comin’ up from the scuzzy, fentanyl-plagued city of Seattle, Taste Testors are four well-aged, clean-shaven punk rockers playing punk rock music aimed at the world’s attention deficit weirdos. With a sound more than a 1000% obviously influenced by four guys from Queens in 1976, they also will tickle the record nerds taste buds with hints of garage, bubblegum, early so-cal punk and doo-wop. Taste Testors have cooked up a delicious debut album with ten songs of uber catchy punk rock that make it sound like CBGB came out of Seattle in 1980, clocking in at 18 minutes most songs last as long as one quick sniff of glue. Taste Testors debut album is now available via streaming platforms and on blue vinyl via Bandcamp, the band will also be playing a free all ages release show later today at Seattle’s Easy Street Records.

Just one month after Taste Testors formed they played their first show, and a month after that they recorded and mastered their first album, and a month after that they cut a deal with Moodkiller Records. Their debut album has come together fast and the songs are what songwriter and guitarist Nils Larson calls “dumb genius”, it might sound easy but for some reason no one else can really do it. The members of Taste Testors are not new to this either, the group is filled with Seattle scene veterans from bands such as The Briefs, Rabid Dogs, The Piniellas, The Greatest Hits, Clean Lines and more.
