Teen Punk Duo Trivia Release Debut EP “Home”

Sunderland, UK’s fiercest young prodigies Trivia have teamed up with Serial Bowl Records for the release of their debut five track EP, Home. Comprising 14 year old vocalist & guitarist Hannah Hays and 15 year old drummer Lydia Stubbs, Trivia have spent the last nine months carving out a ferocious reputation in the North East of the UK, the duo draw inspiration from the raw intensity of 90s grunge and the melodic hooks of early 2000s punk, something that has seen them move rapidly from bedroom rehearsals to their home city’s most iconic stages.

The debut EP features the tracks Home, Tonight, Schizophrenia, Where Do You Go, and Fade, it serves as a definitive manifesto for the band’s evolving sound. Through textured walls of distorted guitar and driving percussion, the record explores the restlessness, toxic environments, and mental strains of adolescence, balanced against a bittersweet, nostalgic edge. To celebrate the launch, Trivia will be playing a headline release show at Sunderland’s Independent, this evening, the 18th July.
