Tether. Experience “Hollywood Trauma” On New Single & Video

London, UK post-hardcore newcomers Tether. have revealed their new single and video, Hollywood Trauma, which is now available via all good digital service providers. The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming debut EP, Mirror Work, that was recorded and mixed by long-term producer MyKey Kew at Rogue Recording Studios in London and is set for release on the 21st June.

“The music industry is a tough place to be. Being in a popular city where it’s so saturated in terms of bands can be telling for anyone trying to pave their way. There are a lot of people in positions of power taking advantage of their privilege, and this often inevitably ends in groups being overlooked or shunned. This song is about people aesthetically going through the motions in the rock scene; people that are just a part of the whole capitalist spectacle of it all, or have just clawed their way to the top through corruption. Making this song has just been an outlet for frustration and an expression of that. On all levels no one is free from slipping into this self-serving, detrimental mindset. Writing this almost felt like a note for future selves. Just don’t be a dick.” (frontman Justin Jackson)
