The Applicators’ “My Weapon” Gets 20th Anniversary Reissue

Cellofame Records proudly announces the 20th anniversary release of My Weapon, the seminal album from Austin, TX’s pioneering all-female punk band, The Applicators. Arriving on June 15th, the record will finally see its long-awaited debut on vinyl, newly remastered and pressed in a limited neon metallic pink edition of 500 copies worldwide. Originally released on CD in 2006, My Weapon captures The Applicators at the height of their international touring era. Partly recorded and produced in London, UK, before being completed back home in Austin, the album stands as a defining statement of the band’s gritty, melodic punk threaded with street punk urgency and riot grrrl spirit. Two decades later, it returns louder, sharper, and more meaningful than ever. The Applicators will hit the road in 2026 with a hometown Austin record release show, followed by a Texas run and West Coast dates, bringing these songs back to the stage where they belong. Pre-orders for My Weapon‘s 20th anniversary vinyl reissue will launch on the 15th May.
