The Beat’s Ranking Roger RIP

The sad news that The Beat‘s Ranking Roger has passed away after a short illness has reached The Punk Site, he appeared on all three of the band’s classic albums and Ranking Roger‘s incarnation of The Beat had only recently released their new album, Public Confidential. The Punk Site sends it’s condolences to his friends, family and bandmates. The Beat released the following statement on their website earlier today

He fought & fought & fought, Roger was a fighter. Sadly Roger past away a few hours ago peacefully at his home surrounded by family. Roger’s family would like to thank everyone for their constant support during this tough time.
