Whitby is set for another weekend of the dark and macabre this April (24th -26th) as Tomorrow’s Ghosts gothic music and film festival returns to Whitby Pavilion, with UK punk legends The Damned set to headline the Saturday night. They are looking forward to returning to Whitby with the bands iconic guitarist Captain Sensible saying; “These Whitby goth festivals.. where the audience generally outdress the bands. I look out at from the stage and feel like an absolute slob.. but that IS of course my role in the Damned – Mr Vanian being the sartorial one. When you go back through all our musical endeavours it would be possible to put together three of four drastically different setlists, but the one for this show pretty much writes itself. Don’t worry though.. there’ll be a few toe tappers in there – loud enough to wake the dead probably. Which is just as well considering, eh?”
