Known for their infectious pop-punk anthems, The Dollyrots are gearing up for their Spring Fling US tour, with Gymshorts and The Boreouts as support on select dates, with tickets available here. In anticipation of the March tour The Dollyrots have released a lyric video for their emotional ballad, Trees Sway, that is taken from their recent album release, Night Owls.
“You know how sometimes things come to you in a dream, and you wake up thinking you’ll remember, then instantly forget it? That almost happened with “Trees Sway”. I was gifted the song in a dream and woke up abruptly, turned to Kelly and said, “turn your phone audio record on, I’ll be right back.” Grabbed a guitar and played the whole thing, front to back, complete with lyrics in one go. That became the song, and when she sang it for the record it took on a life of its own.” (guitarist & vocalist Luis Cabezas)

On Night Owls, the Dollyrots once again highlight their ability to craft music that resonates deeply, whether it’s through high-energy punk tracks, rowdy rockers or introspective ballads. Each track brings its own flair, with subtle tweaks and shifts that keep the listening experience fresh from start to finish.
