The Dollyrots are celebrating a double anniversary this month as their debut album, Eat My Heart Out, turns 20 and 2014’s Barefoot & Pregnant hits double digits, both albums have been newly remastered and have been given a fresh makeover to celebrate. Eat My Heart Out is pressed on on 180 gram peppermint candy vinyl and comes in a gatefold jacket with a 12 page booklet chronicling the very beginning of The Dollyrots. Barefoot & Pregnant is pressed on deluxe picture disc on 180 gram vinyl with a giant 4 panel poster insert and two bonus tracks. Both albums are now available along with a host of other The Dollyrots goodies here, the band have also revealed that their annual Xmas single is tracked and almost ready for release.
“Can you believe it? It’s been 20 years since the release of our first album Eat My Heart Out and 10 since Barefoot & Pregnant. While EMHO was our brash & bratty debut – and the record that launched a million adventures & misadventures – BF&P was the start of our next chapter and recorded while Kelly was pregnant for the first time. They both mean a lot to us, and in a lot of ways capture the feels of their moments. So we decided to give these very out-of-print records a fresh makeover! Both are remastered and sounding punchier than ever on a limited run of 180 gram vinyl. And both come with instant digi downloads in their own awesome packaging, specially picked to be super deluxe!”
