The English Beat On Tour; To Release New Material in 2010

Two tone ska legends The English Beat will be hitting the road with fellow legends Bad Manners.  English Beat will have two quick East Coast dates (this Friday, July 9th in Amagansett, NY and Saturday, July 10th in Niagara Falls) before flying back to the West Coast to kick off their summer tour, which includes a slew of previously announced dates with UK pop rock legends Squeeze.

According to the press release, new songs such as “The Love You Give Lasts Forever”, “How Can You Stand There” and “Said We Would Never Die” are quickly becoming fan favorites and will soon be released in 2010. “I have plans to record this year,” Dave explains. “Some great new demos done, and now I’m just figuring out how to put the recording and touring schedule together. Expect releases to begin before the end of 2010!”
