San Jose, CA's The New Catastrophes have released their new album, Weather The Storm, via streaming platforms, as a free…
With their upcoming fourth full length, Decade On Parade, Germany’s The Feelgood McLouds are celebrating ten years as a band with an album that channels the energy of over 250 shows into an uncompromising Celtic punk statement. Decade On Parade sounds like sleepless nights, unity, new beginnings, and resistance, carried by the raw energy of a band that learned its craft on stage. Today the band have shared the video for, Dance Or Die, that features Henrik Bergmann (Indecent Behaviour). Dance Or Die will be available through streaming platforms from the 24th April and Decade On Parade will be released on the 4th September via Deaf Shepherd Recordings.
The Feelgood McLouds bridge modern punk rock and the intensity of traditional folk. Heavy guitar riffs, punchy drums, and catchy choruses collide with bagpipes, fiddle, flute, and accordion, without ever slipping into cliché folk territory. Instead of nostalgia, The Feelgood McLouds deliver a powerful, contemporary sound that works just as well in massive festival tents as it does in sweaty club shows. Lyrically, the songs revolve around loyalty, doubt, self-determination, and celebrating the moment, always driven by the directness and attitude of punk rock and a solid “fuck you” aimed at today’s global politics.
