The Futureheads have today released Decent Days & Nights: The Singles via Cherry Red Records on CD and double transparent red vinyl formats. The album features a comprehensive and remastered collection of the band’s most iconic tracks including The Beginning Of The Twist, Hounds Of Love, Decent Days And Nights, Struck Dumb and Radio Heart. This compilation not only showcases the band’s signature blend of angular guitars, intricate vocal harmonies and exhilarating energy, but also underscores their influence in shaping the sound of a generation. In addition to the music, Decent Days & Nights: The Singles offers a new insight into the band’s history with new sleeve notes and never-before-seen photographs, creating a vivid chronicle of the band’s evolution from their formation in Sunderland in 2000 to their critically acclaimed comeback with 2019’s Powers. The band will also on tour in the UK in 2025 in support of the album with tickets now on sale.

The Futureheads

“We are delighted to be working with Cherry Red to release this singles collection; they are a label we have admired for many years and this album feels like a landmark and crossing point in our time together as band. We are looking forward to hitting the road in 2025 to celebrate its release and will use the experience as a pivot point from which we can jump into new creative activities and move forward together as an artistic force. Putting this singles collection together is really exciting for us as a band – it’s a chance to honour the records we’ve made and celebrate these songs with our fans. I know albums like this can serve as a portal for new audiences too – a collection of singles is a great entry-point to the band. We can’t wait to tour it in 2025 as well.”
