The Last Resort’s Debut Album “A Way Of Life” Gets Expanded Reissue

A Way Of Life: Skinhead Anthems, the debut album by Oi! legends The Last Resort, is getting a long overdue expanded reissue on the 14th June via Cherry Red Records & Captain Oi! Records. Originally released in 1982 the album will be released on CD with 13 bonus tracks to provide a complete round up of all of the recordings by the original incarnations of the band, including the ultra rare cassette single, Violence In Our Minds, the Strength Thru Oi! classics Johnny Barden and Working Class Kids as well as the Carry On Oi! favourite King Of The Jungle. A Way Of Life: Skinhead Anthems has been restored with it’s iconic cover art and includes the lyrics to all 23 tracks

The Last Resort were a major influence on the hardcore and punk scenes and the band’s songs have been covered by the likes of Madball, Sick Of It All and Death Threat. Still led by vocalist Roi Pearce to this day, they also feature Lars Frederiksen (Rancid / Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards / The Old Firm Casuals / Oxley’s Midnight Runners) and The Last Resort will be releasing a brand new studio album later this year.
