Influenced by the punk and hardcore scenes from the 80’s and early 90’s, Norwegian audio terrorists The Mansters have released a demo, three EPs and a full-length album since their inception in 2006. Now in 2023, seven long years after their self-titled debut album, the five-piece group from Tønsberg are back with a new full length, Lessons In Giving Up, via Loyal Blood Records.

Recorded by Ruben Willem at Caliban Studio Storsjøen, The Lessons In Giving Up contains a high-powered and raucous eight tracks that sees The Mansters merging the raw aggression of punk with the pummelling fury of hardcore. It’s a tried and tested formula that falls somewhere between Poison Idea, Rotting Out and The Good, The Bad And The Zugly that can create some serious havoc in the moshpit.
