The Matches Celebrate 10 Year Anniversary of Seminal Album ‘E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals’

The MatchesOakland, CA pop punk band The Matches are celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the release of their debut record E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals. The album was initially released independently by the band, and then following their signing on with Epitaph Records the label had the rights for a 10 year period. Now back in the band’s hands after the licensing agreement expired, a limited edition vinyl package with new mixes and a slightly different track listing has been released.

In addition to the vinyl re-release and a sold out reunion tour,  the band have also created a series of ‘behind the songs’ videos telling the stories of the songs from E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals, whilst the team behind these videos have also turned to kickstarter in order to fund a full documentary about the band’s career.
