The Offspring will be doing a take-over at The Punk Rock Museum to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their acclaimed breakthrough album, Smash, during the weekend of April 12th-14th with a slew of fun activities. Lead guitarist Noodles will be an official tour guide for the museum over the weekend and on Saturday, April 13th starting at 8:30 pm when The Punk Rock Museum proudly presents a fun and intimate artist talk with the full band, including an acoustic performance of a few of their most beloved Smash songs. The guided tours and the event on Saturday is now sold out. However, the band members will be participating in a variety of different events throughout the weekend that are still available with a general admission ticket to the museum.
Other take-over events include band member Jonah Nimoy, as guest DJ at the Triple Down Bar on Friday April 12th starting at 9 pm. The following night, Saturday April 13th, at 9:30 pm, bassist Todd Morse will be the guest DJ. Head to the bar to hear them play some of their favorite tunes! While you’re there, you can order Smash signature cocktails, featuring Dexter Holland’s Gringo Bandito Hot Sauce! You can also stop by the Somethin’ To Taco ‘Bout Truck for some delicious tacos from 6-9 pm on the 13th April, and don’t forget to add some Gringo Bandito!
Exclusive merchandise celebrating Smash will be available at The Punk Rock Museum retail store for a limited time. This includes a green vinyl variant of Smash that will be a limited edition exclusive to the Punk Rock Museum. For those that want to commemorate the event permanently, The tattoo parlor upstairs in the museum will also be offering Offspring flash sheet tattoos, appointments can be booked through the museum’s website here.
