The Penske File Joins Stomp Records; New Full Length In May

Burlington, Ontario folk-punk trio The Penske File has signed with Stomp Records for the release of their third album.  The disc will be titled Burn into the Earth and is due out on May 26, 2015.   Vocalist and guitarist Travis Miles expressed his excitement to Riffyou.com:

“I’m definitely excited about this new record… It’s the first time we’ve recorded something in one solid chunk of time. We hunkered down in Drive Studios for eight days in December and just banged it out.

“I feel there’s a fluidity and an intensity present that hasn’t been there for us before… We wrote way more songs this time around and were able to narrow it down to what we think are the strongest 10. All in all, writing and recording Burn into the Earth was a fun process in a new element. We can’t wait to get in the van And start playing these tunes live.”
