At number 14 in The Punk Site‘s 2020 top 20 is Kid You Not who released their sophomore full-length album, “Thanks, I Hate It“, in November via Deep Elm Records, a fitting title given the current circumstances in which we find ourselves these days. In Adam Pytro‘s review of “Thanks, I Hate It“ he concluded; “There’s more of the uplifting chord progressions, timely tempo changes and soaring vocal lines to savour. It’s kind of at odds with, but also a perfect vehicle for, the disenchantment (thanks 2020!) threaded throughout… Flawless, I kid you not”.
