Character Actors Release “Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are” EP
Leeds, UK's Character Actors have today released the Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are EP that is available…
In at number 15 in The Punk Site‘s 2023 top 40 are Belfast’s Problem Patterns with their debut album, Blouse Club, that was released via Alcopop! Records in October. Problem Patterns talk openly and candidly about the issues they’re facing, writing immediate songs for right now, swapping roles and instruments to get their point across, building a positive space from subjects that can otherwise be very difficult to face. Whether it’s railing against TERFs, examining middle class poverty tourism, lamenting chronic health problems, airing a shit list of men from the music industry who have wronged them or trashing corporate greed and wealth inequality, their messages are vital.
“Is this an album that you should go and buy?, yes as long as you don’t intend to sell it at an inflationary price later on down the line of course, even though it takes something from everywhere, this is Punk Rock/Hardcore that’s in a league all of its own, the future is most definitely gonna see more Blouse Clubs upon this earth, here’s to that.” (Mark Cartwright)
