Slamming in at number 12 in The Punk Site’s 2023 Top 40 are Sunderland, UK’s Slalom D with their sophomore album, Waltz Into Anarchy, that was released in October via Serial Bowl Records. Waltz Into Anarchy follows on from their debut album Happy Skies and maintains their contemporary political edge and passionate lyrical stance that, true to its North-East roots, agitates and unsettles. Slalom D are an unashamedly political band who nail their colours firmly to the mast; left-wing, anti-fascist, opinionated and thought provoking, and with Waltz Into Anarchy they have released their finest material to date.
